New R01 Grant - Neural processing of speech signals in children who stutter

Dr. Mandy Hampton Wray (PI) received the notice of award for her new R01, "Neural processing of speech signals in children who stutter," from the from the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH)! The new grant is a collaboration with co-investigators Dr. Soo-Eun Chang, Dr. Bharath Chandrasekaran, and Dr. Jason Bohland. This innovative interdisciplinary large-scale project will combine EEG, fMRI, and computational modeling approaches to provide a mechanistic understanding of speech sound processing and the ways in which these processes are modulated by task demands in children who stutter.
